A little about me…
I grew up on a farm in Southwest Minnesota. So from about the time I could walk, I was out in the fields doing everything from picking rocks to spraying beans. After I became old enough to reach the pedals on the car, I worked as a beekeeper, a dishwasher, a pizza delivery boy, a garbage man and a short order cook. Since then, I’ve held some other jobs.
Best Buy – Director of Creative, Social
Currently oversee all social media creative for the brand. This work ranges from large-scale productions to nimble, maker-like videos for TikTok and Instagram.
Best Buy – Director of Brand Voice and Content
Oversaw all consumer-facing video content. I also co-led the creative team responsible for multi-channel campaigns, as well as digital and print collateral for Best Buy and Geek Squad.
GSD&M – Creative Director
Ran the Pacifico Beer, Goodyear Tires, Caesars Palace, Stainmaster, AARP, American Legacy Foundation, Horseshoe Casino and HomeAway accounts.
GSD&M – Associate Creative Director
Was the creative lead on BMW, Chili’s and ACE Hardware.
FCB Chicago – Senior Copywriter
Wrote for Coors Light and Coors Original, Kraft Foods, SC Johnson and Applebees.
Campbell Mithun – Copywriter
Wrote for Verizon Wireless, Minnesota Wild and Key Bank.
